PERSONAL GUIDE TO AMSTERDAM'S GAY RED LIGHT DISTRICT
Oudezijds Voorburgwal 55, Amsterdam

Hey Dude, if this is your first visit to Amsterdam's Gay Red Light District, I'm available as your private personal guide to help advise and inform you about this most interesting part of an interesting city.
As an expat American with 5 years experience living and working in Amsterdam's Red Light District, I know the area's gay attractions like the back of my hand. I can advise you on the most affordable gay-friendly hotels and restaurants that serve familiar American grub or help you locate American products you can quickly find what you want here.
I guide first time visitors and tip you off to the basic customs, laws, etiquette and logic of the locals you will interact with when touring The Red Light District. As a former first-time visitor myself, I know how confusing it can be finding your way to gay hotspots without someone leading you thru the labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys in this historic district. To get the most bang-for-your-buck don't waste time getting lost trying to find your way around, when in a very short time I can answer your questions or guide you to the delights available for gay men in the Red Light District.
I only provide this service for first-time visiting single gay men, and their partners. No more than two persons at a time. I am not a male escort and do not provide those services. I am a mature man with several decades experience working in New York and San Francisco gay clubs and bars and know what American gay men expect and seek on their visits here. I speak your language--American English--as do many Dutch here. But unlike the Dutch I also understand American gay men's slang, tastes, fetishes and lifestyles. If you want someone who "knows" what you're looking for and can easily communicate with, I'm your man.
I can also alert you to some of the seedier characters to avoid and clue you in to Dutch laws concerning sex and drugs you should be aware of. Printed maps for gays abound here but are usually out-dated and only list places paid for by advertisers who have their own interests--and not yours--in mind when guiding you to what are often just tourist traps. These maps only show the major streets in this oldest part of Amsterdam (dating from 1300) and ignore the labyrinth of tiny winding streets and alleys where the more interesting places are located and which only locals like myself can lead you to. I'm available by the hour in the evenings depending on what requests, advice or questions you need answered.
For specific details on the types of service I offer, please visit my website: www.terminal99.com. I only recommend places I've visited and are gay-friendly where you will be welcome.
