- Tijuana/ Rosarito Beach
- You can't go to San Diego without a trip south of the border! While Tijuana might be best-known to some of us as the place to party before turning 21 (you know who you are!), you may not know that there are also several museums and galleries here. Take note especially of CECUT-Centro Cultural de Tijuana (www.cecut.gob.mx), which contains several gallery spaces, a planetarium, a theater and a bookstore. Tijuana is also a great place to buy beautiful and inexpensive native arts and crafts, furniture, cigars, and, of course, tequila.
- Just a stone's throw from Tijuana, about 18 miles south of the US/Mexico border is the laid-back town of Rosarito Beach. Beautiful beaches, great shopping, golf, and restaurants-what more do you need for a great day out?
