Local Food
In this increasingly international city, it can be easy to eat like you're back home. As tempting as it may be to reach for a burger or a slice of pizza, try a restaurant such as Staromestska Restaurace for authentic (if touristy) Czech fare. Czech midday and evening meals are decidedly meat-centric, and many dishes are fried and served in rich sauces. If dumplings, goulash, fried cheese, and saurkraut are not your idea of good eating, you will at least want to try the wonderful Czech pastries!

For a great view of the whole of Prague, head for the Observation Tower (a mini version of the Eiffel Tower) on Petrin Hill. The Old Town Bridge Tower affords a fabulous view of Old Town, the Charles Bridge, and the Vltava River.
