- Before Branson, before “new country,” there was Nashville. Home of the Grand Ole Opry concert hall and the Country Music Hall of Fame, Nashville is still the mecca of country music. Kitsch lovers should stop by Bongo Java (see listing) home of the Nun Bun, a cinnamon roll that bears a remarkable-some would say miraculous-resemblance to Mother Teresa. Sadly, the original Nun Bun was stolen in 2006, but you can still view a replica!
