- Hike from the Dunsapie Loch parking lot to the top of Arthur's Seat (an extinct volcano). Or take the steps from Waterloo Place, at the E end of Princes St, to Calton Hill. If you're feeling ambitious, continue up the spiral stairs to the top of Nelson Monument.
