Weather
While San Francisco is fogged in during the summers, the East Bay remains sunny and warm. Some areas even get hot (90°s-100°s). As for the winter, the temperature drops along with rain (upper 30°s-40°s in the winter). Spring is the time to come - the usually brown hills explode with the colors of green grass and wildflowers.
Best Views
Claremont Hotel, Tilden Park, various locations in the Berkeley and Oakland Hills. Or from the top of Sather Tower on the UC Berkeley campus.
Where The Girls Are
Though there's no lesbian ghetto, you'll find more of us shacked up in North Oakland (Rockridge) and North Berkeley, Lake Merritt (Adams Point), around Grand Lake & Piedmont, along MacArthur (from Fruitvale Ave to High St-also known as The Fruit Hills), in the Solano/Albany area, or at a cafe along 4th St in Berkeley.
