- Weather
- While San Francisco is fogged in during the summers, the East Bay remains sunny and warm. Some areas even get hot (90°s-100°s). As for the winter, the temperature drops along with rain (upper 30°s-40°s in the winter). Spring is the time to come - the usually brown hills explode with the colors of green grass and wildflowers.
- Best Views
- Claremont Hotel, Tilden Park, various locations in the Berkeley and Oakland Hills. Or from the top of Sather Tower on the UC Berkeley campus.
- Where The Girls Are
- Though there's no lesbian ghetto, you'll find more of us shacked up in North Oakland (Rockridge) and North Berkeley, Lake Merritt (Adams Point), around Grand Lake & Piedmont, along MacArthur (from Fruitvale Ave to High St-also known as The Fruit Hills), in the Solano/Albany area, or at a cafe along 4th St in Berkeley.
